Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Subject: Addendum to the Soil Management Plan <br /> for Tank Replacement <br /> Shell Service Station <br /> 620 West Charter Way <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Delta Project No. 40-88-586 <br /> ii <br /> Dear Ms. Reuss: <br /> This letter is in response to our phone coversation yesterday regarding the Soil Management Plan for <br /> Tank Replacement. <br /> Samples of stockpiled soils will be taken using clean 2" X 6" brass tubes, driven into the soil with a <br /> mallet. Each sample will be collected from at least 3 inches below the surface of the stockpile. <br /> Upon collection, each sample will be immediately capped, labeled and kept on ice until submitted to <br /> the laboratory. Soil samples will be composited by the laboratory prior to analysis. At least one <br /> composited soil sample will be analyzed for each 100 cubic yards of stockpiled soil.
