Charter, Stockton
Vicki—we are moving forward per below with the wells adjacent to MW-10. You have
requested that the boring permit application and encroachment permit be submitted by
September 28, 2007. 1 submitted the encroachment.permit to the City of Stockton on
August 10, 2007. 1 contacted the city during the week of 9/3/07 and left a message to
let me know the status of the permit. I did not receive a return call. I called again
9/11/07 and left a message—no:return call. I called again on 9/13/07 and was able to
speak to Reed Campbell with the City who indicated that the in addition to the permit
application we also need to submit a Revocable Permit Request for Groundwater
Monitoring Wells which includes a $1,500 bond for each well. I checked with CRA's
department that handles this and was informed that the bond will take 3 to 4 weeks to
complete. Regarding the due date, will you accept a copy of the permit app and
revocable permit request along with the well permit and fees-to satisfy the deadline
and as soon as I receive the actual permit, I will forward you a copy? Otherwise I will
need a short extension.
10/15/2007
