Fax: (209)468-3433
E-mail: vmccartney@sjcehd.com
From: Murphy,-Mike [mailto:mmurphy@cambric-env.com]
Sent: Thursday, February 22, 2007 12:15 PM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Cc: denis.1.brown@shell.com
Subject: 620 W. Charter Way
Importance: High
Vicki,
Per below, I have not been granted access to the offsite properties. We have been trying
very hard to gain access. The Delta Market and Best Western property owners are not
returning our(multiple)telephone calls or responding to our mailed access agreement
requests. I am taking this as not granting access. We have previously been granted access
to the hotel property, but it is now owned by a new company and therefore, we need a new
access agreement. The McDonald's.property is still going forward, but at their own pace (not
a priority for them).
You established a February 28, 2007 due date for submitting copies of the approved access
agreements. I will need an extension as it is very, very unlikely I will be able to resolve these
issues by then. It might be a good idea to grant an extension, but not to establish a due date
for the access agreements as it is pretty much out of our control at this point.
We may need a letter from SJCEHD to the property owners to perhaps persuade them to
grant access. Cambria will Keep actively pursuing offsite access.
Alternately, we can perhaps move proposed wells MW-13-50, MW-13-77, MW-15-50, and
MW-15-77 into West Charter Way or S. Harrison Street (MW-15 wells), but there may be
utility conflicts prohibiting this. I'd have.to be able to get an encroachment permit for drilling
in the center of the lanes based on known utilities locations (see attached map). This may be
an issue also. We would also need to confirm that there are not other unknown utilities that
may be in conflict with these locations. There are not alternate locations for proposed wells
MW-14-50 or MW-14-77.
Let me know how to want to proceed with the extension request and any other comments you
have.
Regards,
Mike
Mike Murphy
Senior Project Scientist
Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc.
19449 Riverside Drive, Suite 230
Sonoma, CA 95476
Phone: 707.933.2367
FAX: 707.935.6649
Cell: 510.385.3116
A 14ronian-Oivned Business
This e-mail may contain confidential and privileged material for the sole use of the intended recipient Any review or
distribution by others is strictly prohibited. If you are not the intended recipient please contact the sender and delete all
4/27/2007
