'RE: MCAFEE E-MAIL SCANERT!—RE: 620 WEST CHARTER W , STOCKON Page 1 of 5
Vicki McCartney [EH]
From: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Sent: Friday, January 10, 2014 2:57 PM
To: 'Silva, Larry'
Subject: RE: MCAFEE E-MAIL SCAN ALERT!—RE: 620 WEST CHARTER WAY, STOCKON
Hi Larry,
Under Case Summary:
. The Second paragraph states that"During these activities, approximately 1,100 tons of impacted soil
were removed from the Site." (In the Case Closure Request(CCR), dated 04 October 2013, pages 1 and
10 state that 1,100 tons of gasoline constituent impacted soil have been removed; but on page 10, under
Section 8.1, the CCS states that in November 1989, approximately 1,100 cubic yards of.impacted soil were
removed. A report that I have from May 26, 1995 states that 1,058 cubic yards of soil containing petroleum
hydrocarbons were excavated from around the former steel tank locations. My question is, should this be
tons or cubic yards?
. Add to the end of the second paragraph - Impacted soil does not extend off-site; impacted groundwater
extends at least 50 feet off-site toward the east, but is decreasing in size and mass.
. Add to the end of the third paragraph -Impacted groundwater is predicted to achieve water quality
objectives in approximately sixty-one years.
The recipient list is fine.
Thanks, Larry
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209)468-9852
Email: vmccartneyCaD_sicehd.com
From: Silva, Larry [ma iIto:lsilva@craworld.com]
Sent: Friday, January 10, 2014 12:03 PM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Subject: RE: 'MCAFEE E-MAIL SCAN ALERT!—RE: 620 WEST CHARTER WAY, STOCKON
That's odd, it shows that it was included on my end. I included it again, but as a pdf. Revised letter also
attached.
From: Vicki McCartney[EH] [mailto:vmccartney@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Friday, January 10, 2014 11:45 AM
To: Silva, Larry
Subject: RE: MCAFEE E-MAIL SCAN ALERT!—RE: 620 WEST CHARTER WAY, STOCKON
1/10/2014
