The EHD stated that it .was particularly
interested in the following to facilitate closure consideration:
• Cross sections, or references to reports with cross sections, that show correlated
soil lithologies, contaminant concentrations, lateral and vertical extents of
impactedsoil and groundwater, and contaminant migration pathways;
• Tables of current and historical soil and groundwater data;
• Calculations showing current estimates of the residual dissolved and adsorbed
total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g) and methyl tertiary-butyl ether
(MTBE) contaminant masses;
• An estimate of the future impact to groundwater from adsorbed contaminants;
• An estimate of the projected maximum plume extent resulting from the modeled
additional impact of groundwater; and
• An estimate of when site conditions will meet water quality objectives (WQOs).
By letter dated 20 March 2013, your consulting firm, Conestoga-Rovers & Associates
(CRA), notified the EHD that CRA would submit a closure summary report and conduct
semi-annual sampling of the monitoring wells at the site during the second quarter 2013.
