PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING <br /> SITE MITIGATION PLAN <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a corrective action plan for remediation of an <br /> underground leaking storage tank site located at <br /> 749 E Charter Way , in the City of Stockton (APN 147-343-09-9) on the South side <br /> of Charter Way , East of Highway 5, has been reviewed by San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health Services , Environmental Health Division ( PHS/EHD) . The plan is a proposal for <br /> 1 mitigation of hazardous substances which contaminated the site due to unauthorized <br /> releases associated with underground storage tanks ( UST) which were located on the <br /> property. <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services , Environmental Health Division , Local UST <br /> Oversight Program , has made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance <br /> with local , State and Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will not <br /> create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained <br /> from cleanup of the contamination . <br /> The corrective action plan is available for public review at the offices of PHS/EHD , 304 <br /> E . Weber Ave , Stockton , California , during normal working hours, 8 : 00 a . m . - 5 : 00 p . m . <br /> If a written request by any member of the public for a public hearing is not <br /> received by PHS/EHD by 12-21 -96 the tentative decision shall become final on that <br /> date and time . <br /> All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to PHS/EHD at P . O . Box 388 , <br /> Stockton , 95201 .
