The following work will be performed to determine the source of the hydrocarbon contamination. HISTORY On November 14 , 1989 three tanks were removed at this site and three fiberglass tanks were installed . The laboratory results taken at the time of removal tested positive for gasoline hydrocarbon contamination . On December 19 , 1989 an Electromagnetic Induction Survey was conducted on the site to aid the investigation of the aerial extent of the contaminated soil and in planning the position of the monitoring wells. In January 1990 three monitoring wells were installed . They were reported in our report dated February 9, 1990 . In March and April 1992 , three more monitoring wells were installed. They were necessary because the groundwater had fallen below the depth of the original wells. This work was reported in our report dated April 30, 1992. In July 1993 we installed two additional monitoring wells and drilled one boring . This work was reported in our report dated August 24, 1993. In September 1994 , we installed three additional monitoring wells. This work was reported in our report dated October 10, 1994 . In April 1995 we drilled two CPT borings and they were reported in our report dated March 15, 1995. In February and March , 1996 five vapor extraction wells, one air sparging well and one boring were installed at this site. This work was reported in our report dated March 19 , 1996 . In April 1996 we drilled two additional CPT borings. They were reported in our report dated June 10, 1996. In July 1999, we drilled an additional monitoring well MW-12 to 80 feet , This was reported in our report dated August 5, 1999.
