A <br /> transitional seal will be placed from 125 to 120 feet which will consist of hydrated bentonite chips. <br /> From 120 feet to the surface the casing annulus will be filled with hydrated cement. To finish the <br /> installation , a traffic rated monitoring well box will be cemented into placed at surface level and the <br /> new monitoring well will be capped with a locking cap and lock. <br /> ii <br /> Monitoring Well MW- 18 will be built by placing a section of 0.020 slotted PVC casing into the <br /> bottom 10 feet of the boring . Then 10 foot threaded sections of Schedule 80 PVC blank well <br /> casing will be threaded together from 150 feet to the surface. Number 3 sand pack will be placed <br /> opposite the slotted casing and 5 feet above it and slowly surged and consolidated prior to placing <br /> the transition seal until the sand pack has stabilized at 5 feet above the top of well screen . A <br /> transitional seal will be placed from 150 to 145 feet which will consist of hydrated bentonite chips . <br /> From 145 feet to the surface the casing annulus will be filled with hydrated cement. To finish the <br /> installation , a traffic rated monitoring well box will be cemented into placed at surface level and the <br /> new monitoringwell will be capped with a locking ca and lock. <br /> pP 9 P <br /> SOIL DISPOSAL <br /> All soil cuttings and construction materials will be stored on site either in 55- gallon steel drums . <br /> Dependent upon soil analysis the final determination for waste disposal will be determined. All <br /> waste will be disposed of in a licensed facility. <br /> WELL DEVELOPMENT <br /> No sooner than 48 hours later, each monitoring well will be surged and developed to establish a <br /> path of recharge for the future monitoring events to take place on these wells. A minimum of 10 <br /> casing volumes will be purge or until the discharge water is flowing relatively clear. All purge <br /> water will be stored in a poly 60- gallon drum and stored on sight for future disposal . After the <br /> wells are developed the two new wells (MW-17 and MW-18) will be surveyed. <br /> LABORATORY TESTING <br /> The following analytical tests will be performed on the soil and groundwater samples by Argon <br /> Laboratories. The samples will be placed on ice in a cooler until they are delivered to the <br /> laboratory, under chain of custody. <br /> Soil Testing <br /> EPA 8260 B for MtBE, TAME, ETBE , DIPE and TBA 0. 005 and 0. 0 5 mg/Kg <br /> EPA 8260/8015 for BTEX and TPH-g 0.005 and 1 mg/Kg <br /> Water Testing <br /> EPA 8260 B for TAME , ETBE, DIPE, TBA, 12-DCA AND EDB 0. 5 and 5 u /L <br /> EPA 8260/8015 for BTEX and TPH-g 0 . 5 and 50 u /L <br /> 4 <br />
