Exceltech will have the wells surveyed and draft plot
plans. The survey will be conducted using modern surveying equipment and methods
T so that accuracy can be maintained. Elevation readings will be,o the nearest 0.01 feet
and corrected to mean sea level. The plots will be of sufficient scale to portray the data
in a useful manner.
Chemical Analysis
Samples collected during the investigation will be submitted to Seqouia Analytical
Latoratory in Redwood City, California. Seqouia will analyze soil samples for the
presence of TPHG using Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Method 5030/8015
and benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene, and total xylenes using EPA Method 5030/8020.
Groundwater samples will be analyzed using equivalent methods. The samples will be
submitted to the laboratory for analyses on a normal turnaround of 10 working days.
Siie )investigation Report (Preparation
~ Exceltech will prepare a Site Investigation Report presenting the field and laboratory
" methods used, the data obtained, conclusions, and recommendations based on our
findings. The report will also contain:
• Logs for each exploratory boring drilled.
• Construction details of each monitoring well installed. a;
• Copies of all laboratory reports and chain-of-custody documents.
• Site maps showing features relevant to the investigation including a
groundwater contour map.
i.,
