Charter Way <br />Stockton, CA <br />Project No. 724.2 <br />January 29, 2010 <br />1.0 SUMMARY <br />The Site is an operating auto repair shop, occupies the property located at 814 Charter Way <br />(Figure 1). Three gasoline USTs (2-5,000 gallon and 1-2,000 gallon} and one 500 -gallon <br />waste oil UST were removed from the site under permit in December of 1991. <br />The work performed to date is summarized below*: I <br />• December, 1991 - Two 5,000 gallon, one 2,000 gasoline and one 500 gallon waste oil <br />USTs were removed. <br />• March, 1992 — Seven borings, TH-1 through TH-7, were installed under supervision <br />of Earth System Environmental Inc. (ESE). September 1992- three monitoring wells, <br />MW -1, MW -2 and MW -3, were installed under supervision of ESE. <br />• March & April, 1993 — Jim Thorpe Oil Co. excavated gasoline impacted soils around <br />former dispenser island and USTs to a depth of 20 28 feet under the supervision of <br />Wm. J. Hunter & Associates. Approximately 800 cubic yards of soil transported off <br />site to Forward Landfill for disposal. <br />• September, 1999 — Two additional monitoring wells, MW -4 and MW -5, were <br />installed under the supervision of Wm. J. Hunter & Associates (Hunter). <br />• November, 2000 — five additional groundwater monitoring wells (MW -6, MW -7, <br />MW -104, MW -106 and MW -107) were installed under the supervision of Geological <br />Technics Inc.
