PN-I and PC-3 were also
positioned to be adjacent to the dispensers on the dispenser island. Two soil samples
L (TK-IN and TK-1S) were collected from beneath the north and south ends of the
former 5,000 gallon underground leaded gasoline storage tank at a depth of 12 feet
L below the surface grade, respectively. Two soil samples (TK-2N and TK-2S) were
collected from beneath -the north and south ends of the former 5,000 gallon
underground unleaded gasoline storage tank at a depth of 12 feet below the surface
Lgrade, respectively. Two soil samples (TK-3N and TK-3S) were collected from beneath
the north and south ends of the former 2,000 gallon underground premium unleaded
Lgasoline storage tank at a depth of 12 feet below the surface grade, respectively. One
soil sample (TK-4) was collected from beneath the former 500 gallon underground
Lwaste oil tank at a depth of 9 feet below surface grade. Two soil samples (SPE-I and
SPE-2) were collected from within the eastern excavation stockpile at 3 feet below the
L surface of the stockpile. One soil sample (SPW) was collected from within the western
excavation stockpile at 3 feet below the surface of the stockpile.
LThe four soil samples from beneath the 5,000 gallon underground unleaded gasoline
storage tank, and the 2,000 gallon underground premium unleaded gasoline storage
Ltank were submitted to Mobile Laboratories in Bakersfield, a State of California
Department of Health Services (DOHS) certified laboratory. The soil samples were
Lanalyzed for TPH as gasoline using the California DOHS Luft Method for gasoline, and
for the gasoline constituent volatile aromatics, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and
L total xylenes (ETEX) using USEPA Test Method 8020. The eight soil samples from
beneath the 5,000 gallon underground leaded gasoline storage tank, from beneath
the product pipelines and from the two excavation stockpiles were submitted to B C
Laboratories in Bakersfield, a State of California Department of Health Services
(DOHS) certified laboratory.
