(Wlogcol Tecknks Inc Page 5
' Groundwater Monitonng Report
Project No 724 2
March 29,2005
1
2.0 FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION
' The results of the groundwater sample analyses indicate the following
' 1 Non-detect Well
• Wells MW-1, MW-4, MW-5, MW-I1, MW-104, MW-110, MW-111 and MW-
210 did not contain petroleum hydrocarbon contarrunants above the laboratory
' reporting limits
2 Dry Well
' • Well MW-6 was dry and was not sampled
3 TPH-G
• Wells MW-2 (120 0 ltg/L TPH-G) and MW-3 were the only wells found detected
(in shallow wells) for TPH-g contaminants
• Intermediate wells MW-106, MW-107 and MW-108 contained 160, 120 and 810
[tg/l TPH-G, respectively
' • Deep well MW-208 contained 880 µg/1 of TPH-G
4 MTBE
• MW-7 has been detected for MTBE (3 0 [tg/]L) among the shallow wells
• Intermediate wells MW-106, MW-107 and MW-109 contained 23 0, 6 6 and 15
µg/1 MTBE, respectively
• Deep well MW-209 contained 8 8 µg/1 of MTBE
' 5 Benzene
• MW-2 (1 3 [.g/1) and MW-3 (0 9 µg/1) has been detected for Benzene among the
' shallow wells
• Intermediate wells MW-106 and MW-107 contained 0 76 and 0 55 ltg/l Benzene,
respectively
• Deep well MW-208 contained 9 9 µg/1 of Benzene, and also contains 0 63 µg/l of
Toluene and 14 µg/1 of total xylenes
' The distribution of groundwater contaminants is summarized as follows
(Note The Isoconcentration contours are generated utilizing the SURFER® computer
' modeling program We recognize that computer generated contour maps do not provide the
most accurate representation of what is taking place in the field However, even hand-
contoured map at best provide a shadow of reality Both need to be looked at as
' interpretation, not reality)
1 TPH-G
' • Only MW-2 (120 0 µg/L TPH-G) and MW-3 (71 µg/L TPH-G) were the only wells
found detected for TPH-g contaminants above the laboratory reporting lrrrnts A
contour diagram was not plotted because of the limited data
