Charter Way
Stockton, CA
Project No 724 2
August 8, 2000
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This report summarizes the 2nd Quarter 2000 round of groundwater monitoring and testing
' that took place on June 28, 2000 The laboratory analyses indicate that detectable
concentrations of the aromatic hydrocarbon compounds (BTEX) are present in four of the
site's five monitoring wells Gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) are present in
three of the wells
Oxygenated fuel compounds were detected in wells MW-2 and MW-4 This is the first time
these compounds were noted in well MW-4 during the course of the investigation
The groundwater level rose approximately 0 71 feet since the March 2000 monitoring event
rGroundwater gradient calculations show that groundwater flow is S89°E at 0 0015 ft/ft
r1.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING
' 1.1 Hydrogeology of Site
A site-specific groundwater gradient and bearing was calculated from the depth to water
r measurements taken during the groundwater monitoring The gradient was 0 0015 ft/ft
flowing S89°E, which is consistent with previous monitoring events The average elevation
of groundwater under the site was —15 59 feet below mean sea level The water level has
r
r
