Charter Way , Stockton
Tank 3 - 939 W . Charter Way , Stockton
k
Dear Ms . Turkette :
i
Enclosed please find the following :
1 ) Work plan for soil boring at Tank 3 prepared by
I Artesian Environmental Consultants , and
2 ) Summary Phase II through IV for Tanks 1 , 2 and 3
prepared by Artesian Environmental Consultants . This
summary assumes that the Tank 3 site will not require
further investigation or remediation .
Currently , quarterly monitoring is being carried out at
Tanks 1 and 2 and a 211 passive selective skimmer is being
used to remove the free product . The plan was to do further
investigation to locate the zero line to the north and west .
The progress at the site is related to the availability of
funding .
During the period October 1988 through September 1991 ,
Nomellini Construction Co . expended $ 56 , 303 . 42 on soil
1 investigation and cleanup . Since September 1991 and through
August 20 , 1993 , Nomellini Construction Co . expended about
$ 28 , 500 . 00 . Expenditures on tank removal and related
testing and some cleanup prior to September 1991 were about
$ 20 , 000 . 00 . If some reimbursement of the $ 84 , 803 . 00 expend-
 i ed since September 1991 could be obtained, work could be
accelerated .
My suggestion is that work would continue in the
following sequence :
i ,
