Prior to issuing such a directive , <br /> the EHD has reviewed Groundwater Monitoring Report — Third Quarter 2013, dated 10 January <br /> 2014, and Dual Phase Extraction Remediation Report — Third Quarter 2013, dated 27 January <br /> 2014, both prepared by your consulting firm, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) , on your <br /> behalf. <br /> Data collected from operating the dual-phase extraction (DPE) remediation system between 25 <br /> July and 23 September 2013 indicate that the mass recovery rate has declined to low levels of <br /> approximately one pound per day. Based on the low mass recovery, the EHD directs that <br /> operation of the soil vapor extraction system and groundwater extraction system cease. The <br /> EHD directs that rebound testing begin by monitoring and sampling monitoring wells MW-1 , <br /> MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, MW-6, MW-7, MWA0, MW-12, extraction well EW-1 , vapor extraction well <br /> VW-1 , and air sparge wells AW-1 and AW-2 during the second and third quarters 2014. <br /> Analyze the groundwater samples for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-g) ; total <br /> extractable petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TEPH-d); benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and <br /> total xylenes (BTEX) ; naphthalene , methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) , ethyl tertiary-butyl ether <br /> (ETBE) , tertiary-amyl methyl ether (TAME) , tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA) , di-isopropyl ether <br /> (DIPE) and 1 , 2-dichloroethane (1 ,2-DCA) .
