E
KLEINFELDER
The samples collected from wells MW-2 and MW-3 on June 26, 1991, were analyzed for
the same analytes by the California Analytical Laboratory/Enseco. Concentraticans of
gasoline ranged from 4,900 to 38,000 ug/I. BTEX compound were detected in both
samples. The highest concentrations were consistently detected in sample 67713 collected
from MW-2. Benzene was detected in this sample at 13,000 ug/I and gasoline at 38,000
ug/l.
S it &Mpless
Sample 67511 collected from B-10/MW-1 and sample 67521 collected from B-11/MW-2
were analyzed for purgeable TPH as gasoline and BTEX compounds. Both samples were
collected at a depth of 31 feet. The analytical results indicated relatively low
concentrations of several BTEX compounds when compared to the concentration detected
in the ground water. Benzene was detected in B-10 at I I ug/kg. Xylenes were detected at
!" 21 and 33 ug/kg in B-10 and B-11, respectively. Concentrations of gasoline were not p
r
detected in either sample.
4.3 OFFSITE WELL LOCATION SURVEY
Fwd The SJCEHD iii letter dated December 18, 1990 requested that a well location survey be
conducted to locate wells within 2,000 feet of the site which potentially may be affected by
' the plume of contaminated ground water beneath the NomeIlini site. Kleinfelder reviewed
the California Department of Water Resources(DWR) and conducted a ground survey to
f F locate wells not listed in tl'e DWR files_.Kleinfelder also attempted to review SJCEND file
1.' of drilling permit applications, but they were not available for review. Eleven welts were
i.; located either in the agencies records or during the ground survey(Table 5).
Fiq, -dO.Mi 'wells tmd one Jr;dLtstna!well rc lotted tsstweeti.1,60I}:to 2,(100 &south of•
F
the ysi; r„lfirerr'.shallow. ribtiitoriiig wells:fin&-une well,of.unknown,purpose;are Iocatefd
near the tnerSectzan ox ei shng Siregt WINMY It M ;pxoramatz
Y, __... j
t+ llwest if.fihe"site: T,e well locations are summarized on Table 5 and ars, shown
relative to the site on Plate 7.
G
h
F18-91-62 9
Copyright 1991 Kleinfelder, Inc.
