In addition, the monitoring well located on the JM Equipment property immediately to the west has indicated a high level of contamination from an undetermined source Due to the ongoing contamination of the ' ground water from both the east and the west sides, it is impractical to undertake any further excavation to remove contaminated soil and replace it with clean fill Until the ongoing source of the contamination can be identified and remedied, we would only be replacing soil which would be immediately contaminated and have to ne removed at some later date My clients are willing to undertake their responsibility to complete the soil ' cleanup at sometime when the existing contamination from offsite sources can be resolved ' Very truly yours, ' JOHN W WELCH ' JWW kmb CC William Hunter ✓ .
