(Cambria) prepared this work plan on behalf of <br /> Equiva Services LLC (Equiva) in response to San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division's (SJCPHS/EHD) June 1, 2000 letter. The scope of work <br /> presented in this work plan is written to comp] with SJCPHS/EHD and Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board (RWQCB) guidelines. Cerieration of this work plan was delayed <br /> simply because it was overlooked. Upon notification of this error to Equiva by SJCPHS/EHD <br /> on April 26, 2001, Equiva notified Cambria who produced this work plan. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description: The subject site is located on the northeast corner of East Charter Way and <br /> Airport Way in a mixed commercial/residential area of Stockton, California (Figure 1). The <br /> former site layout included two station buildings, three fuel underground storage tanks (USTs), <br /> and four dispenser islands (Figure 2). K.E. Curtis Construction Company, Inc. of Newbury <br /> Park, California demolished the service station during April 1999. <br /> UST Removal. On April 29, 1999 three 10,000-gallon single-wall steel gasoline USTs were <br /> removed from the site. The tanks were found to be in good condition with no obvious <br /> Oakland, C A indications of failure. Soil samples were collected from the bottom of the UST excavation <br /> San Ramon, CA <br /> s o n o m a, CA and beneath the former fuel dispensers and product piping at locations specified by SJCPHS <br /> staff (Figure 2). A total of 14 soil samples were collected.
