0 PW TIGHT 4)I L L EQUIPME COAXIAL DROP TUBES OPW 61TC The OPW 61TC is a submerged fill drop tube designed to be installed in the riser pipe of underground storage tanks. When used with a coaxial adaptor, the 61TC is an easy, inexpensive means of converting conventional 3" and 4" UST fill pipes to a coaxial fill and vapor return connection. Three aluminum retaining brackets welded into place and three centering springs riveted to the aluminum tube, hold it firmly in the center of a riser pipe. OPW 61TCP The OPW 61TCP submerged fill drop tube is similar to the OPW 61TC, but is spring loaded and acts as a pop- pet when used with the included 633TCP. Note: Poppeted fittings are certified by California Air Resources Board (GARB). In submerged filling applications, delivery is faster and less vapor is generated when using the 61T. Flared at the upper end, the 61 T rests on top of the fill pipe. An OPW tight fill adaptor screws onto the riser pipe and holds the drop tube in place. The bottom of the 61T is furnished flat, but is generally cut to length on the job -site at 45°. The distance from the tank bottom to the drop tube should he 6" to 12", or per local requirements.
