Contact the fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for <br />applicable permits. <br />2. At least one person who holds a current International Code Council UST Installer/Retrofitter <br />certification and manufacturers' certificate of training for all components installed must be onsite <br />when work is performed. <br />3. Each person installing or testing any component must hold a current certificate of training from the <br />manufacturer of that component. <br />4. Any changes shall be submitted to Environmental Health Department (EHD) for approval prior to <br />commencing work. All new submittals supercede the previous ones. <br />5. All piping, fittings and sumps must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled <br />as required by the organization. (UL, ULC, ANSI, API, ASTM, etc. See California Code of <br />Regulations (CCR), Title 23, Chapter 16 Table B for complete list.). Pursuant to the Underwriters <br />Laboratories Inc (UL) listings, only those products bearing the UL mark will be considered listed. <br />Any part/product not marked with the UL label will be rejected. <br />6. All monitoring systems shall be listed in LG113-16. <br />7. All installation and testing shall be in compliance with manufacturer's instructions, Section 2635 <br />and 2636 of CCR. <br />8. All piping must slope and be able to drain to a containment sump with an audible/visual alarm. <br />9. All metal components in direct contact with the ground such as flexible connectors, swing joints, <br />fittings, and pumps shall be cathodically protected. <br />10. An integrity test must be performed in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines for the tank <br />and the piping once the site is in operating condition (once concrete is poured) and before the final <br />inspection. A hard copy of the results must be submitted to this office prior to operation. <br />11. Submit a Monitoring and Response Plan to EHD prior to the final inspection. <br />12. Submit the Best Management Practices to EHD for managing fuel spills and wash down water at <br />this site prior to the final inspection. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
