COCKROACHES CRAWLING AROUND <br /> WHERE THE FOOD IS BEING PREPARED.WORKERS ARE TRYING TO KILL THE COCKROACHES WHILE <br /> CUSTOMERS ARE EATING. PLEASE CALL COMPLAINANT BACK WITH FINDINGS. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed the following: <br /> -one dead roach under meat prep table around the corner of warewash station, and 1 live one on the wall inside dry storage <br /> /sushi-rice-to-vinegar prep room <br /> -Lots of rodent droppings on shelves and behind bags of flour/sugar inside dry storage/sushi-rice-to-vinegar prep room, <br /> several on top of bags on on floor in back storage room behind the above-mentioned dry storage,two droppings on top of <br /> pumpkins(some of which showed signs of chewing, and lots of pumpkin seeds strewn about). <br /> -Lots of flies throughout kitchen <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin:rodents(rats,mice), cockroaches,flies.(114259.1, 114259.4, <br /> 114259.5) <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> This inspection is conducted in conjunction with second Routine inspection.
