Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Owner is on site and is aware of the complaint. <br /> Owner states that the animal in the facility was a service animal. <br /> No service dogs (or non-service dogs)were observed in the facility at the time of the inspection. <br /> According to California Retail Food Code Section 113903 a"service animal" means any dog that is individually trained to do <br /> work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or <br /> other mental disability. Tasks performed can include, among other things, pulling a wheelchair, retrieving dropped items, <br /> alerting a person to a sound, reminding a person to take medication, or pressing an elevator button. <br /> Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the <br /> Americans with Disabilities Act(ADA). Other species of animals,whether wild or domestic, trained or untrained, are not <br /> considered service animals either. <br /> The manager or operator of a food facility may only ask two questions of the handler to determine if the dog is a service <br /> animal: <br /> 1. Is the animal required because of a disability? <br /> 2.
