Time In: 10:45 am <br /> Time Out: 11:14 am <br /> Food Program Complaint Inspection Report <br /> Name of Facility: MANGY MOOSE CAFE Date: 05/02/2019 <br /> Address: 506 E YOSEMITE AVE, MANTECA 95336 <br /> Owner/Operator: QUIROZ, OSCAR Telephone: (209)298-0317 <br /> Program Element: 1600-FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00049723 <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> COMPLAINANT ALLEGES EMPLOYEES DO NOT WASH THEIR HANDS, THERE DOES NOT EVEN APPEAR TO BE A <br /> HAND WASHING STATION,THERE APPEARS TO BE A DEAD BABY COCKROACH IN ONE OF THE SHADOW BOXES <br /> NEAR THE FRONT OF THE FACILITY. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Complaint inspection with owner on this day. <br /> The kitchen has never had a separate hand washing sink. Employees wash their hands at the 3 comp sink, a practice that <br /> they have been doing in this facility. Currently,the 3 comp sink only has a nozzle spray attachment.There is a wire attached <br /> to the hose to lock the spray on (making it"hands free")while employees wash their hands.There is a hand soap dispenser <br /> and paper towels available. <br /> I reminded owner: although employees wear gloves, proper hand washing procedures shall be followed before putting on new <br /> gloves. If an employee changes duties and switches to handling foods,the employee shall discard the current gloves, properly <br /> wash their hands, and then put on new gloves. Hand sanitizers shall NOT be used as a substitute for proper hand washing <br /> with warm water and hand soap. <br /> Owner stated that he has monthly pest control service with Consumer Pest Control. He stated that he had seen water beetles <br /> in the facility but not—Cockroaches.
