Telephone: (209)824-2000 <br /> Program Element: 1600-FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00043713 <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> C00043713 states: "PURCHASED FOOD ITEMS THAT SEEMED SPOILED OR OFF: HOT DOGS HAD AN ODD TASTE/ <br /> SALTINESS TO THEM, CHEESE FROM THE DELI WAS DRIED OUT, BREAD WAS MOLDING A DAY AFTER <br /> PURCHASE,AND PRE-COOKED CHICKEN WAS STILL BLOODY INTERNALLY. CONCERNED ABOUT EXPIRED <br /> PRODUCTS BEING SOLD. REQUESTING FOLLOW-UP FROM INSPECTOR." <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Per MOD, rotisserie chickens are cooked to 185F in the ovens prior <br /> to being placed out in hot hold for customer purchase. <br /> The time the chickens come out of the oven is written on the packaging of each individual rotisserie chicken (9:30 am on <br /> chickens out at time of inspection). <br /> Deli cheeses are sliced to order when requested by the customer. Bulk blocks of cheese are re-wrapped in plastic wrap in <br /> between customers. Deli case temp is 40F. Cheese blocks do not appear dried out this date. <br /> A variety of different types of Ball Park hot dogs were examined: Ball Park Bun Size franks have a Use By date of Aug 18, <br /> 2017(wall)and Aug 21, 2017(coffin),the 30 oz package of Ball Park franks have a use by date of Aug 10, 2017(coffin),the <br /> footlong Ball Park franks have a use by date of Aug 15, 2017 (coffin), 16 pack of Ball Park franks(wall)have a use by date of <br /> Aug 26, 2017.The Ball Park Park's Finest have a use by date of June 8, 2017(this package was voluntarily removed from <br /> sale by MOD).The Ball Park products in the meat walk-in cooler have use by dates of 7-28-17 to 8-25-17. The walk-in cooler <br /> temp is 33F. <br /> There is a cart of CVP(Customer Value Program)baked items that are reduced price and have the current USE BY date <br /> (current day date-placed on CVP cart).All products on the cart this date are free of visible mold. <br /> The loaves of Home Pride and WonderBread have BEST BY dates ranging from 7-8-17 to 7-11-17. Per MOD, bread is <br /> delivered five times/week.
