SHE BIT INTO SOMETHING WHITE AND HARD <br />THAT RESEMBLED A TOOTH, BUT BIGGER THAN A TOOTH. TODAY THE COMPLAINANT AND DAUGHTER TOOK <br />SANDWICH AND OBJECT TO FACILITY. THEY WERE TOLD BY EMPLOYEE THERE WAS NOTHING THAT COULD BE <br />DONE BECAUSE COMPLAINANT DID NOT HAVE A RECEIPT AND THERE WAS NO WAY TO PROVE SUB WAS <br />BOUGHT AT THAT PARTICULAR SHOP. COMPLAINANT REQUESTS C/B AFTER INSPECTION." <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP º F -- COMMENTS <br />NOTES <br />Upon inspection, the employee that helped the customer was on site. She states that the customer brought in the foreign <br />object. The employee states that the object was "gummy," and semi-hard. She states that it resembled a piece of chewed <br />gum. The customer did not bring in the entire sandwich, just the piece that was found. Employee is unable to remember the <br />type of bread the sandwich was made on. <br />Some of the sandwich bread (white, wheat, herb and cheese), the cold cuts, and produce were inspected. No foreign objects <br />were identified this date. Unable to verify the complaint. <br />Corrective action: Remain diligent in maintaining a product free from any type of foreign object. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
