Stop the process of whatever you are doing. <br /> - Surround the spill- put barrier around so the spill stops from splitting to other places. Prevent it <br /> from going to the sewer. <br /> Threat the spill by putting absorbent material like cat littler or sawdust. <br /> - Put the sawdust in the waste drum-the drum should be leveled waste material for spill- <br /> Big spill— <br /> Close the area <br /> Close the business <br /> Call your emergency coordinator- <br /> Call your employer <br /> How to prevent fires to happen <br /> - No smoking in work area <br /> - When handling gasoline or fuel use gloves and after you finish your work wash your hands <br /> entirely. <br /> - Don't storage oxygen close to fuel to prevent explosion <br />
