Siv offered to refund (c) but (c) declined. Siv stated the quantity of the returned donuts was about the same <br /> though she didn't count it. The returned donut holes were discarded. Siv stated all the donut holes yesterday were sold by <br /> closing, and there had been no other complaints before or after. <br /> Did not detect any chemical odor to any of the donut holes or other donuts. Verified cleaning products are stored separately <br /> from food. Observed 3 operational violations but they don't seem to have to do with nature of the complaint. <br /> Siv stated no employee has called in sick, nor any family members, or if anyone's been out of country. <br /> Did not observe making of any donuts or donut holes since facility has already cleaned up. Bakers in at around 2am and <br /> baking is done by about 5am. Did observe new product Maplebar with Bacon. The maplebar is done as normal donuts by <br /> deep frying batter and topped with maple glaze, followed by placing strips of baked bacon on top. Bacons are baked at 400 F <br /> for about 20 minutes. This product is not considered potentially hazardous food (PHF) at this dime due to low water activity. <br /> Please be aware this determination is subject to change based on new information. <br /> The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br /> Safety Code.
