Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />#23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Near the restroom the facility contains a decent number of fruit flies that harbor around the employee <br />lockers and dirty wiping clothes. The kitchen director stated Ecolab comes to service the facility for pest control twice a <br />month. Continue providing pest control and make changes to reduce the fruit fly population in the discussed area. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION., Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, hies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br />#45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed coving damage to the comer file upon entering the food preparation area. The ceiling near the <br />ventilation hood contains a ceiling file missing. Ensure all flooring and ceiling tiles are repaired or replaced in order to ensure <br />an enclosed working environment. Correct within 30 days. <br />Inside of the ware -washing area there is holes in the wall that need to be seated or plugged in order to ensure an enclosed <br />ware -washing environment. Correct within 14 days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls / ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor <br />surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br />cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br />unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed.
