UST owners <br /> are included in this new requirement. A copy of the SVVRBC flyer entitled ''ACT N[)VV'', <br /> explaining the responsibilities nfUST owners and the deadlines by which you must oonnp|y, is <br /> enclosed with this letter. <br /> This second notification is being sent through certified mail so you understand the importance <br /> ' <br /> of the January 1. 2005. deadline to (described below) <br /> and ° for all of your unU <br /> fank (UST) facilities located within San Joaquin County. <br /> The owner's compliance statement mentioned above is required pursuant to California [ode of <br /> Regulations, Title 23. section 2715 (e) which reads: <br /> By January 1' 2005, owners of underground storage tank systems shall <br /> submit a signed statement to the local agency indicating that the owner <br /> understands and is in compliance with all applicable underground storage <br /> tank requirements, and identifying the designated UST operator(s) for each <br /> facility owned. The owner shall inform the local agency ofany ohmnQo of <br /> designated UST operatmr(s) nolater than 3Odays after the change. <br /> TO help you nnrnp|y with these requirements, the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD) is enclosing a document entitled ''{}vvner Statements of Designated <br /> Underground Storage Tank (UST) Operator and Understanding of and Compliance with UST <br /> Requirements".
