Permit will be in the 3rd floor of <br /> our building for pick up. Listed below are the conditions regarding the installation of the piping system. <br /> 1 Notify fire dept. <br /> 2 All deviations from approved plans must be approved by PHS/EHD. <br /> 3 Pump shut down must satisfy all conditions listed on 23 CCR 2636(g). <br /> 4 See page 2 in old application and page 3 in new application for required inspections. <br /> 5 No water well can be within 150' of an underground tank. If water well exist on site notify EHD <br /> immediately. <br /> 6 All interstitial monitors must perform according to manufacture's standards, and must be tested <br /> annually in accordance with section 2630(d), California Code of Regulations(CCR), Title 23 Waters, <br /> Division 3,Chapter 16. <br /> 7 All corrodible piping if in direct contact with backfill material, shall be protected against corrosion as <br /> specified in Title 23 2636 (b). Copper piping that may be used to drain the vapor pots are corrodible <br /> piping therefor it must be isolated from backfill.Taping the copper pipe will not meet this requirement. <br /> 8 Existing vent lines may be left in place if they are uncovered and inspected by EHD to confirm they <br /> are corrosion protected and structurally sound. Lines must pass pressure test as any new line, or be <br /> replaced with new piping. <br /> 9 Sumps used for vapor pots must be UL listed. Provide information prior to installation of sumps. <br /> 10 All equipment must be UL listed and be compatible with the product to be stored in it. <br /> 11 Sealing rubber boots used to test secondary containment piping must be slipped away so that the <br /> secondary lines drain properly. <br /> 12 Line Leak Detector test must be witnessed by EHD. <br /> 13 All inspection must be scheduled 48 hrs. in advance. <br /> If you have any questions regarding these conditions,contact Vidal Pedraza at(209)468-0333 or Doug <br /> Wilson at(209)468-3446. <br /> Yours truly, <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
