SAN JOAQUIN Environmental Health Department
C010NTY-
c n' Greotness grows herk;. Time In: 4:30 pm
Time Out: 6:19 om
Food Program Complaint Inspection Report
Name of Facility: ARBYS#7447 Date: 05/24/2019
Address: 6248 PACIFIC AVE, STOCKTON 95207
Owner/Operator: DEEP S SAGEA INC Telephone: (209)954-0929
Program Element: 1600-FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00049854
DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint:
COMPLAINANT STATES TOILET(USED BY CUSTOMERS& EMPLOYEES BOTH) IS NOT WORKING AND IS BACKING
UP. SINK IN BATHROOM IS NOT WORKING-DOES NOT DRAIN.THERE USED TO BE A CLEAR PLASTIC BAG OVER
THE SINK TO KEEP PEOPLE FROM USING IT BUT IT IS GONE AND EMPLOYEES HAVE TO TAKE THE WATER
FROM THE SINK AND DUMP IT INTO THE TOILET. EMPLOYEES USE THE SINK NEXT TO WHERE THEY WASH
DISHES TO WASH THEIR HANDS. COMPLAINANT ALSO STATES EMPLOYEES USE A SQUARE METAL THING TO
STAND ON TO PUT PANS AWAY ABOVE THE SINK. IT GETS SLIPPERY WHEN WET AND IS NOT SAFE.
COMPLAINANT ALSO STATES IF FOOD IS COLD EMPLOYEES ARE TOLD TO DOUBLE DIP/DOUBLE FRY IT FOR
AN EXTRA 15 SECONDS. COMPLAINANT ALSO STATES THE MANAGER PLACES THE CORDLESS PHONE ON THE
TABLE WHERE THEY MAKE SANDWICHES.
VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7;
113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health
and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of
the food facility.
OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS
FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS
No Temperature Data Collected
NOTES
Upon arrival spoke with owner on phone who stated having knowledge of complaint and informed me of a plumber being on
their way. One restroom was locked when I arrived but was eventually propped open. One sink is currently clogged and it
takes a large amount of time for the water to be drained, as for the other sink, the stopper was stuck and thus not allowing
water to be drained. Once the stopper was loosened, the water began to drain normally. The toilets are not clogged and
function normally. One restroom will be closed until plumber is able to unclog sink, until then one restroom will be used by
associates and customers, while the other will be closed until repaired. Facility contains a metal step stool for its associates
and if they wear their slip-resistant shoes then they will have no problem climbing on or off the step stool. Spoke to person in
charge about food that is cooled before purchased, the food is deep fried then placed in a holder with a hot Iamp. The food is
on a timer with the names of the different types of food on it.Associate stated that if the timer goes off and the food has not
been purchased that it is tossed and a new batch is deep fried and placed on the hot hold, thus starting the cycle all over
again. Observed the phone and sales log placed in a location near the prep table but not directly on the table itself. Will advise
to keep personal and non-food related items away from the prep area.
FA0002367 C00049854 SCO04 05/24/2019
EHD 16-23 Rev.06/30/15 Page 1 of 2 Food Program Complaint Inspection Report
1868 E.
