As previously discussed, the P.E.who wrote the plan has been experiencing a
number of health difficulties. We tried being sensitive to his issues and he kept promising a final work product. In the
end,his work was insufficient and I am certain it would not meet your agencies standards or criteria. We recently told
the P.E.that we can no longer tolerate giving him extra time and we decided to hire a different P.E.to complete the
required revisions and calculations.
Again,we apologize for the delay and hoped the originally P.E.would come through as he promised so any times. If you
would like to discuss in further detail, please do not hesitate to contact me at(209)948-0302.
Sincerely,
Steve Azevedo
California Environmental Manager
Knife River Corporation
kniferiver.com
1
