Date: 05/26/2017 <br /> Manufacturer training: Veeder Root, 08/03/17; VMI Tester,08/02/17 <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> NOTES <br /> The following inspections were conducted and witnessed today: <br /> -Sensor functionality testing of the monitoring system after a cold start of the monitoring system and replacement of the UDC <br /> sensors. Passed. <br /> -Leak detector testing at 3gph at 10 psi. Passed. <br /> -Verification testing of electronic overfill prevention. Passed. <br /> -Visual inspection of the piping contained within the UDCs and conversion frames. All piping was contained within the <br /> conversion frames and UDCs. <br /> -Visual inspection of the piping within the dispensers. No leaking was observed. <br /> -Secondary containment testing of the 87 and 91 piping (1 hour at 5 psi). Passed. <br /> -Secondary containment testing of UDC 3/4 (Incon).Passed. <br /> Still needed: <br /> -Primary piping tightness testing on the product lines. The Veeder-Root monitoring panel was programmed for this test(0.1 <br /> gallons per hour)and the test was started while on site. According to the technician, this test must be run for three hours. <br /> .According to Mr. Brian Gan, the technician on site, a cold start of the monitoring panel was performed after a software <br /> upgrade. This cold start was not included in the original permit scope of work.
