FROPOSED GROUND WATER REMEDIATION <br /> As detailed in our report dated 15 October 1987, analytic results for ground water .e; <br /> samples collected from the three ground water monitoring wells at the site were below .the <br /> detection limits of i ppm for TFHC and 0.0005 ppm for benzene, toluene and xylenes <br /> (BTX), As discussed on page 4 of the preceding report, we intend to install an additional <br /> ground water monitoring well, sereened int8 the unsaturated tune, down fiad;':,at of flit <br /> western end of the excavation. After the additional well is developed it will be sampled <br /> along with the prewinusly installed welli, ThS ground water samples will be zn:Llyzed by <br /> EPA Method 8015 for TFHC and by EPA Method 602, gas chromatography with <br /> photoionization detection (GC/FID), for BTX. <br /> All previous and current sampling results will be used to determine whether ground <br /> water remediation will be instituted at the site. <br /> 2 <br />
