PERA4; LH <br /> 1111 Navy Drive E$ <br /> Stockton, CA 95024 <br /> Re: Site Investigation <br /> 1111 Navy Drive, Stockton <br /> WA Job No. 44-245-01 <br /> Dear Mr. Munoz: <br /> This letter presents analytic results and summarizes the work performed <br /> by Weiss Associates (WA) during the recent tank removal at the Safeway Meat <br /> Packing facility at 1111 Navy Drive in Stockton, California. <br /> Four underground fuel tanks were removed between. 6 July and 10 July 1987 <br /> by Precision Industries of Stockton, California.. Joseph P. Theisen, WA <br /> geologist, was present at the site on .7 July and witnessed the removal of Tank <br /> i <br /> #1, closest to Navy Drive, and the uncovering of Tank #2, second from Navy <br /> Drive. We understand Doug Wilson of the San Joaquin Local Health District <br /> (SJLHD) and Andre O'Neil of the Stockton Fire Department were present during <br /> the removal of all tanks. <br /> Ground water was encounterted at a depth of approximately 9.25 ft from <br /> the ground surface during the removal of Tank 1.
