After reviewing the soil data from the Krazen Report,Limited Phase II <br /> Environmental Site Assessment,Safeway Meat Processing Plant,dated October 16, 1995,you <br /> gave verbal permission to dispose of the drummed soils on site. The.soil data from Tables 1 and 2 <br /> of the referenced report indicate trace hydrocarbons in the form of gasoline and diesel ranging from <br /> non-detectable concentrations to a maximum of 32 ppm: There were no volatile compounds <br /> (BT EX)reported in the soil samples. <br /> As directed in the conversation, Safeway will dispose and spreadthe drummed soils in the existing <br /> area designated on the Krazen report Figure 5 as "Tank Pit Excavation Spoils Disposal Area".
