Ms. Diane Hinson Page 3
August 5, 1991
Pending your approval of this Addendum, we have tentatively scheduled
these field investigation activities for the week of August 19, 1991. Please
contact us if this schedule needs to be postponed to a later date.
In -order to initiate the permitting process, we have enclosed the following
items:
• Two applications for permits to install borings;
• One application to abandon three existing monitoring wells;
• Two checks for $89.00; and
• One check for$60.00.
In addition to the boring/well permits to be issued by the County, we will be
seeking additional permits from the City of Stockton Public Works
Department. The additional permits from the City will be necessary
because one of the proposed wells will be installed in the Navy Drive right-
of-way. The City's permitting requirements include:
• One encroachment permit for the site;
• One application fee for the site; and
• One faithful performance bond to be paid by Safeway to the City
for the well installation on City property.
As -soon as we have completed the City's permitting requirements, we will
forward the necessary documentation to your office for completion of the
County's permitting requirements.
Please call me if you have any questions regarding the proposed scope of
work or time schedule.
Sincerely yours,
ERM-West, Inc.
Shannon Sadler
Soil Scientist
MSS/mss/1218.02
enclosure
cc: Melita Elmore/Safeway
Don Christensen/Safeway
