�I 4 <br /> SITE HEALTH & SAFETY PLAN <br /> 13.0 MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE <br /> Western Geologic Resources personnel and sub-contractors engaged in <br /> project operations shall be participants in the Medical Surveillance <br /> program, and must be cleared by the examining physician(s) to wear <br /> respiratory protection devices and protective clothing for working with <br /> hazardous materials. The applicable requirements under Federal OSHA, 29 <br /> CFR 1910 will be observed. <br /> Examination Requirements <br /> All Western Geologic Resources personnel on-site shall have successfully <br /> completed a pre-placement or periodic medical examination in accordance <br /> with established Western Geologic 'Resources. policies and procedures, and <br /> consistent with the provisions of the OSHA carcinogen standards. This <br /> examination shall include a complete medical and occupational history, <br /> physical examination, and selected biological sampling. Laboratory <br /> studies include a complete blood count (CBC), urinalysis, chemistry <br /> panel (SMAC), pulmonary function (FEV and FVC), chest X-Ray, audiometry, <br /> and vision screening. <br /> I <br /> 29 <br />
