(91b)444-9378 <br /> U V 2 3 1994 (916)4445313(Fax) <br /> Mr Steve Sasson ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> Environmental Health Specialist PERMITISERVICES <br /> Public Health Services <br /> San Joaquin County <br /> P.O Box 2009 <br /> 445 N San Joaquin <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> Subject Groundwater Monitoring Report for TERM <br /> Safeway Meat Processing Plant located at <br /> 1111 Navy Drive , Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Sasson: <br /> This letter transmits the results of groundwater sampling <br /> conducted by ERM-West in November 1994 at the Safeway, Inc property in <br /> Stockton Groundwater samples were last collected during the third quarter of <br /> 1994 Analyses of samples collected during November 1994 once again detected <br /> diesel fuel at very low levels, consistent with previous data as far back as 1991 <br /> Groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) as <br /> diesel by EPA Method 8015 (Modified) A Coliform sample from MW-6 was <br /> submitted to the laboratory and 110 MPN/100 m/1 was detected in the <br /> groundwater sample. The detection limit for diesel analysis was 50 ug/l Results <br /> of the fourth quarter 1994 sampling are summarized in Table 1 <br /> November 1994 Analytical Results <br /> Sample TPH-diesel Total Coliform <br /> MW-4 320 ug/l N/A <br /> MW-5 510 ug/1 N/A <br /> MW-6 180 ug/l 110 MPN/100m/l <br /> Original laboratory reports and copies of Chain-of-Custody forms are included <br /> with this letter. <br /> Table 2 shows the measured groundwater elevations at the three monitoring <br /> wells A potentiometric groundwater elevation map prepared from the <br /> groundwater measurements is also attached to this letter <br /> A Member of the Environmental <br /> Resources Management Group <br /> 1 <br />
