The following are Minor violations- Notice to Comply' <br /> #108,407,605 <br /> 108. Sanding dusts on the floor of the shop require hazardous waste determination. Any person who <br /> generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately make a hazardous <br /> waste determination for the sanding dusts, and manage it according the Title 22 hazardous waste <br /> regulations. Hazardous metal particles 100 microns or smaller may not be recycled and must be handled <br /> as hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was <br /> managed by 10/11/2012. <br /> 605. No accumulation start date on a completely full, approximately 30-gallon drum of paint waste. All <br /> hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information' <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste", 2. name and address of generator, 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state, 5. composition (contents), and 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since EHD was unable to determine the length of storage of this container, the container is <br /> therefore considered to have been on site longer than 180 days, or longer than 90 days once the <br /> generator has determined storage of 220 pounds of hazardous waste on site has been reached. <br /> Immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and <br /> submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by 10/11/2012. A pamphlet for SJC Small Business Hazardous <br /> Waste Program has also been provided. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT END'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> Inspect Receiv By_ Title: <br /> 22-02 R !
