The site location is shown on the Site Vicinity Map <br /> _., (Plate P-1). The approximate locations of the station facilities are <br /> _I shown on the Generalized Site Plan (Plate P-2). <br /> Several environmental investigations have been performed at the site over <br /> j - <br /> approximately the last 5 years. Approximately 30 monitoring wells, of <br /> various depths and diameters, were drilled on and adjacent to the property <br /> Prior to Ultramar acquiring the site in July I990. <br /> r � <br /> Previous ground-water sampling and analysis, performed .by DuPont <br /> Environmental Services for Conoco, showed;.hydrocarbon constituents present <br /> -' <br /> in shallow ground water predominantly centered around the farmer <br /> underground storage tank cluster As of September� 1989, all but one of <br /> r: <br /> ti the ground-water monitoring wells were dry due to current drought <br /> conditions in California. i <br /> A soil vapor extraction system was operative at.the site in December 1989 <br /> Y f Y Li � - <br /> d _ ' <br /> and continues to operate.
