Used fluorescent bulbs were observed stored in an open box in the hazardous waste area. <br /> Universal waste lamps shall be contained in a closed container or package that is structurally sound, <br /> adequate to prevent breakage, and compatible with the contents of the lamp. The box was closed at the <br /> time of inspection. REPEAT VIOLATION <br /> 808. A box of electronic waste ballasts were observed unlabeled in the hazardous waste area. A <br /> generator shall label or mark universal waste with the words 'Universal Waste' and the type of waste <br /> (batteries, mercury containing equipment, lamps/bulbs, electronic devices, CRTs, CRT glass, aerosol <br /> cans). Immediately label this waste and ensure that all universal wastes are labeled with the required <br /> information. REPEAT VIOLATION <br /> Notice to Comply - Minor violations: (809) <br /> 809. The facility was unable to demonstrate the amount of time used fluorescent bulbs were stored on <br /> site. A generator of universal waste shall accumulate universal waste for no longer than one year from <br /> the date the waste was generated.
