The lab contained a five gallon container of waste buffer. In the lab chemical fume hood work area <br /> there is a four liter and one liter glass containers of lab waste. The lab technician Shaoming stated that <br /> the lab waste is managed as a hazardous waste and brought to the San Joaquin County Hazardous <br /> Waste disposal facility. These wastes lacked the required labeling for hazardous waste. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since it cannot be determined how long the containers of lab waste have been on site, <br /> immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and <br /> submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by 2-13-14. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE <br /> IInspector: Received By: Title: <br /> cl;�- 4-w.
