Narrative of findings: Two complaints regarding Tri -Valley Recycling were logged <br />on the Department of Toxic Substances Control's (DTSC), Illegal Handling of <br />Hazardous Waste, Complaint Hotline (hot-line). The complaints are as follows: <br />Complaint 1. Tri -Valley Recycling dismantles electronic wastes (e -waste) without <br />Authorization from DTSC. A 40 yard container of steel carcasses of <br />electronics is kept at the facility and filled on a regular basis. In addition, <br />the facility advertises and picks up auto batteries from curbs. The <br />complaint was recorded at DTSC on November 3, 2010. <br />Complaint 2. On November 5, 2010, Tri -Valley Recycling picked up e -waste <br />and paint waste from a resident who was on the City of Folsom's House <br />hold hazardous waste pick-up schedule.
