In particular, the enclosed memo is the result of an <br /> inhouse request for technical consultation originated by Mr. Ito to <br /> ATD. Mr. Ito ' s request specifically asked for an ATD evaluation of <br /> the report personally submitted by Mr. Robert Olson and Mr. Mark <br /> Connolly titled, "The Products of Sumiden Wire, " prepared by Dr. <br /> John Quinn, Ph. D. , Laboratory Director, FGL Environmental . The <br /> conclusions reached as a result of that evaluation are stated on <br /> page six of the memo and are the same conclusions presented in our <br /> meeting with you in Senator Johnston ' s office. Mr. McCormick' s <br /> memo elaborated in more precise detail, the regulatory and <br /> statutory citations used to reach these conclusions . <br /> I also understand that Ms. Lisa F. Brown, Deputy District <br /> Attorney in the San Joaquin County Environmental Prosecutions Unit, <br /> has had similar communications with Mr. Connolly regarding the <br /> subject of SWPC ' s waste classification. These discussions resulted <br /> in the December 20, 1991 letter from Ms .
