Box 8719 <br /> Stockton, CA 95208 <br /> 1 <br /> REPORT OF VIOLATIONS <br /> Dear Mr. Niki: <br /> On July 13 , 1995, the Department of Toxic Substances Control <br /> (DTSC) conducted an inspection of Sumiden Wire Products Inc. , <br /> located at 1412 E1 Pinal Drive in Stockton, CA. <br /> As a result of the inspection, violations of hazardous waste <br /> statutes and regulations were identified which were not cited in <br /> the original inspection report left with Neil Hanlon on that <br /> date. <br /> Additional specific violations and required corrective <br /> action are listed below. Failure to correct the identified <br /> violations within the schedule provided will result in DTSC <br /> citing Sumiden Wire Products Inc. for continuing/additional <br /> violations. <br /> Violations <br /> 1. Section 25143 .9 (a) , Health and Safety Code, Section <br /> 66262 . 34 (f) , Title 22 , California Code of Regulations <br /> Sumiden Wire Products Inc. claims the ferrous sulfate is an <br /> excluded recyclable material. Pursuant to Section <br /> 25143 . 9 (a) , Health and Safety Code, a recyclable material <br /> shall not be excluded from classification as a waste <br /> pursuant to subdivision (b) or (d) of Section 25143 . 2 , <br /> unless labeling requirements are met. <br /> Sumiden Wire Products Inc. . failed to clearly mark and make <br /> visible on the approximately 20 sacks containing ferrous <br /> sulfate the following information: <br /> CJ Recycled Paper <br />
