B. SULFURIC ACID SPILL OR LEAK PROCEDURES <br /> Dilute Small spills or leaks with water. Neutralize residue with soda ash. For <br /> major spills, contain the acid by diking the spill with suitable materials and <br /> recover spill into polyethylene containers. Neutralize residue with soda ash and <br /> flush with water. <br /> Proper Protection Equipment <br /> Goggles or Face Shield,Rubber Gloves, Rubber Apron or Rain Suit and Rubber <br /> Boots. <br /> C. USED DRAWING(DRY) LUBRICANT SPILL AND CLEANUP <br /> Sweep up spill area and deposit sweepings in the designated drop box for transfer <br /> to an approved landfill. Do not flush area with water—vacuum area with <br /> Wet/Dry vacuum machine if necessary and deposit contents in same container as <br /> above for disposal in approved landfill. <br /> Proper Protection Equipment <br /> Safety Glasses, Leather Work Gloves and Approved Dust Mask. <br /> D. FERROUS SULFATE SPILL AND CLEANUP PROCEEDURES <br /> Shovel or sweep spill area and deposit Ferrous Sulfate into Super Sack. Vacuum <br /> spill area with Wet/Dry vacuum machine if necessary and dispose of in an <br /> approved landfill. <br /> Proper Protection Equipment <br /> Safety Glasses, Leather or Rubber Work Gloves <br /> E. OIL-USED OIL—OIL AND WATER <br /> Cover small spills with absorbent, shovel or sweep up and deposit in proper <br /> container for proper disposal. Larger spills, dike with absorbent materials and <br /> vacuum spill area with Wet/Dry vacuum machine. Deposit contents into and <br /> approved container for proper disposal. Clean remaining area as with small spills <br /> above. <br /> Proper Protection Equipment <br /> Safety Glasses, Leather or Rubber Work Gloves <br /> F. PHOSPHORIC ACID SPILL OR LEAK PROCEEDURES <br /> Dilute Small spills or leaks with water. Neutralize residue with soda ash.
