summarized in Table 8 and soil vapor laboratory analytical data has been summarized in Table 9.
Waste Disposition
On November 21, 2018, 575 gallons of accumulated purge water was transported by American
Valley Waste Oil, Inc. to the DK-Dixon facility in Dixon for disposal/recycling. A copy of the
non-hazardous waste manifest in included in Attachment D.
GROUNDWATER ANALYTICAL RESULTS
Groundwater samples from wells MW3, MW6R, MW7, MW8, MW9R, MW 13 and VEW 1-D
were analyzed by BC. TPHg was detected in the sample from well MW3 at a concentration of 21
parts per billion (ppb). A low level of ethylbenzene was also present. TPHg and benzene were
detected in the sample from well MW6R at concentrations of 2,800 ppb and 330 ppb, respectively.
Low to moderate levels of toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes were also present. TPHg was
detected in the sample from well MW7 at a concentration of 8.5 ppb. No BTEX compounds were
present in the sample from well MW7. TPHg and benzene were detected in the sample from well
MW8 at concentrations of 7,300 ppb and 4,700 ppb, respectively. Moderate levels of toluene,
ethylbenzene and xylenes were also present. TPHg and benzene were detected in the sample from
well MW9R at concentrations of 9,900 ppb and 3,300 ppb, respectively. Moderate levels of
toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes were also present. TPHg and benzene were detected in the
sample from well MW 13 at concentrations of 1,100 ppb and 150 ppb, respectively. Low levels of
toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes were also present. TPHg and benzene were detected in the
sample from well VEW 1-D at concentrations of 20,000 ppb and 2,500 ppb, respectively. Moderate
to high levels of toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes were also present. TPHd was detected in
wells MW6R, MW8, MW9R and VEW1-D at concentrations of 1,400 ppb, 4,000 ppb, 2,000 ppb
and 310,000 ppb, respectively.
MTBE was reported in well MW6R at a concentration of 2,500 ppb, in well MW7 at a
concentration of 5.2 ppb, in well MW8 at a concentration of 9,700 ppb, in well MW9R at a
concentration of 11,000 ppb, in well MW 13 at 85 ppb and in well VEW 1-D at a concentration of
7,900 ppb. TBA was reported in well MW6R at a concentration of 630 ppb, in well MW8 at a
concentration of 4,800 ppb, in well MW9R at a concentration of 3,700 ppb and in well VEW1-D
at a concentration of 4,900 ppb. No other gasoline oxygenates or additives were detected in any
site well.
March 2019 analytical results are presented in Table 2. Cumulative analytical data for petroleum
hydrocarbons are summarized in Table 10. Cumulative oxygenate analytical results are
summarized in Table 11. Laboratory data sheets and chain-of-custody documentation are included
in Attachment B. TPHg, TPHd, benzene and MTBE isoconcentration maps are presented as
Figures 5, 6, 7 and 8, respectively.
