Facilities shall be <br /> maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or <br /> surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. During the inspection, the employees clean up <br /> the spilled oil. Continue to immediately clean up spills and manage the waste generated according to Title 22 <br /> hazardous waste regulations. <br /> This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class Il. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> On site to conduct a routine hazardous waste inspection. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials information <br /> online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be sure to include <br /> your hazardous waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant <br /> activities and required fields. <br /> Waste streams: <br /> - oily water <br /> - oily sludge <br /> - oily absorbent <br /> - drained used oil and fuel filters <br /> Note: <br /> The following violation was a first time violation that was corrected during the inspection. <br /> 122. Failed to submit a written response within 30 days of receiving an inspection report <br /> An inspection was last done on 3-19-15 and an inspection report was issued identifying information to be <br /> submitted to bring this site into compliance. This information was required to be submitted by 4-19-15. This <br /> information has not been received resulting in a non-compliant status for this facility. An operator that receives an <br /> inspection report shall have 30 days to submit a written response that includes a statement documenting <br /> corrective actions taken or proposing corrective actions which will be taken. During the inspection, the owner <br /> Paige Gillin provided a copy of the return to compliance certification documents.
