THORNTON RD.
LODI, CA 95242
TEL: 209-333-8383
FAX: 209-333-8353
February 13, 2005
Dear Mr. Von Flue,
This email is to update as to where we are in complying with your 1-21-05 inspection of our facility.
1. Our business management plan will be updated on line by 2-21-05.
2. We have an employee meeting scheduled for 2-20-05 to do the necessary business plan and
hazardous materials handling procedures training. I will have the meeting records signed at that time.
3. Labels have been ordered for our above ground tanks but will not be done by 2-21-05.
4. We now have a barrel for our absorbent pads. Where should we put the line around the barrel you
mentioned that would start the time line on when it should be processed? I think you said 2/3rds or
was it 1/2 full? (Picture attached)
5. We have changed the way oil is to be handled in front of the oil storage room and will be doing our
best to mitigate the stained area.
6. Decals are on order for the satellite used oil/diesel filter barrels and will not be here by 2-21-05. All
old labels have been removed awaiting the new labels and they are emptied within 24 hours.
7. Diesel 1/4 barrel labels will be made also. What size lettering on these and do they need any other
information on them?
8. The SPCC Plan will be updated on line and a copy kept in lunch room for all employees to have
access to it.
Ted from Fremouw Environmental Services, Inc. will be calling you to ask a few questions and update
you as to how are waste oil and sump cleaning is handled.
Are there any size requirements for the lettering on the decals we are having made and what they
should say other than "Drained Used Oil and Diesel Filters, Emptied Daily"? They are awaiting our
input before having them made.
2/14/2005
